Professional Development Workshop: Mentoring Circles
Synopsis of Workshop:
The aim of this first 3 hour sessions is to offer individuals interested in PMI accreditation and newly accredited PMI members (the mentees) feedback and guidance from seasoned credential holders (the mentors), on the technical project management, leadership; and strategic and business management skills set as outlined in the PMI Talent Triangle®.
Join us for what hopefully can be a relatively informative discussion on how to focus on developing the additional skills required from Project Management practitioners to meet the evolving demands on the profession.
We will be setup in tables with each table having one or more mentors in each of the skills sets. Each table will focus on either technical project management, leadership; or strategic and business management. The discussion will continue for a short period and then participants will swap tables. This process will be repeated until each participant has been exposed to each of the skills sets of the PMI Talent Triangle®.
Each attendee at the workshop will be allowed to give his or her view on the subject, as time allows, so, think about it and come prepared.
