ISO has finally delivered a DIS (Draft International Standard) for Project Management. If you are interested to receive a copy for comment, please contact belindan@bks.co.za who will immediately send it to you on normal work days.
Please note that this is still a draft and requires a final round of public comment before the decision can be made. Please note that it is more in the form of generic guidance and less in the form of a standard.
This is probably because many standards generating bodies are working on this document and it is therefore aimed to be a global peace maker, rather than another competitive standard.
This document is now being circulated for public review by (SABS TC236) member organizations. We ask that you make the necessary comment also to belindan@bks.co.za which we will then submit to SABS TC236.
PMI SA Chapter has to submit by end of June and your comments are therefore requested by not later than 24th June.
