Why Should You Volunteer for the PMI South Africa Chapter

Volunteers are the lifeblood of the PMI and the PMI South Africa Chapter. We support around 1000 members nationally, which includes organising events such as the PM Summit, managing the monthly Branch events and Volunteer engagement meetings, participating in social impact projects, providing the annual mentoring program and many other professional development opportunities. When you volunteer, you become part of a larger team where you will meet and work with other Project Management professionals on a wide variety of initiatives. No matter what your interests are, the PMI South Africa Chapter has a volunteer position where you can use your skills and give back to the PMI community.

Some of the value that you can expect through your participation as a volunteer …

  •  Learn new skills
  • Give back to the profession
  • Network with other professionals
  • Get Leadership experience
  • Earn Professional Development Units
  • Participate in social projects
